So he can drift silly.
You know you can only drift in a RWD car, so put the Celi in reverse.

lol that's such a weird question I guess it depends on wether lift is programmed to kick in at a certain RPM no matter what or if it has any variables depending on gear, etc... I doubt it is something Toyota would really need to worry about when designing the ECU so I'm guessing it probably would since it would be easier to just code it to hit lift at a certain RPM with no variables... but still the real question is why...

I acutally used to parking lot race that way. We would do who could go back to front the length of the lot the fastest. Thats probably when I ruined my reverse gear lol.

My post was meant to be a joke, I have absolutely no interest in discussing the definition of drifting, nor do I care about differing techniques between FF and FR cars.

I know the definition of drifting is debateable, but drifting to me has always meant getting the car to a point where the throttle controls the yaw of the vehicle, which is impossible in a FWD vehicle.
Drifting in a RWD car isn't the best way to get a good time on the track, but it arguably can be used as a method to retain some control of the car with lost traction.
Drifting in a FWD car is pointless, and will just ruin your tires.
-----------
As far as lift in reverse, It won't hit lift if the car isn't warmed up, or if you are just revving with no engine load, so I doubt it will work in reverse.
