well just a heads up, i guess they're starting to SELL the new wannabe synthetic thas gonna replace the tri-syn. i saw the commercial for it this morning. so to all mobil1 fans, STOCK UP!!!!

The Tri-synthetic was also a wannabe full synthetic.

The Tri synthetic was only a partial PAO stock oil, like the new Super Syn, which meets API SL criteria

Where you gettin this from? If anything I'd choose Mobil1 over castrol. Mobil 1 is just now following the path that Castrol chose to go with when it got away with calling whatever it wanted "synthetic". Mobil is basically saying. If you can't beat 'em join 'em.


Amsoil OR Redline (redline much better suited for all day racing applications So of course I personally go with Amsoil)

Amsoil/Redline > castrol/mobil/blah blah blah/
