I just found out that I am burning a significant amount of oil and I am going to have to do a low engine overhaul replacing the hoses, gaskets, seals, and piston rings. Does anyone know where I can go to get good piston rings. I went to oreillys and they dont even have the engine listed and autoZone doesnt have them either. Can someone help me out with a website or a seller.

GT or GT-S? I've got a set of GT-S rings that I never used. Also have the front and rear seals. Let me know if interested. I should be putting them up in the For Sale forum today or tomorrow along with some other items.

Try Partznet.com

just the other day on ebay I saw a 1zz full package for 50 + shipping and it had everything you should need for a rebuild, minus the rings. But partznet.com is the best spot to find that stuff

if you are replacing the rings you need a headgasket cause you will be taking the head off. get a tube of FIPG from the dealer. and get the rings from the dealer. they will already be gapped, just install on the pistons and drop in. oh might as well get new rod bearings too. there will be a number on the rod to get
