Alright Here's My Problem...
I finally got my Power Book Computer...
What I would ultimately like to do is set a up a mount for it to sit inside the car...

But my dilema comes with the audio part. I understand I can use like an attached radio mudulator that affixes itself to the computers speaker/headphone sound out port - this will generate a private radio channel around my car where I could just "tune" into its frequency... OR

I could just go high quality and physically take a sound cable right into the celi's electrical systems somehow...

If any of ya'll have experience with this or know a place (That won't rip me off :D ) that I could check out thats more knowledgable, I'd appreciate the help.

i think you're talking about an FM Modulator. they sell them at best buy and maybe circuit city. it just plugs into the line out on some kinda music player and transmits it to an fm station on your head unit. only problem is that when it is fm modulated it won't be cd quality or so. but i've never actually used one so i wouldn't know how the quality of the sound is.

if you're running the factory head unit still then you could just use a tape adapter. if you have a new HU or are looking to get one then see if it can be hard wired in somehow for the better quality. good luck!

hey thanks,
yeah im aiming for cd quality sound, i don't want to risk anything otherwise, this is great because now i can hold more songs than any cd changer around - show a visual display of the music - and control it all fairly easily. well, thanks again.
