If you are looking for all season then the toyo fz4 is the way to go.

thx,

I have narrow down to the Falken ZE-512 ZIEX or the Toyo FZ4, i elminated the nitto because they have gotten many bad reviews. Also I didn't want to get another set of Pirelli P7000 Supersport because they are noisy (trust me). I know the Toyo got a good review, but the Falken ZE-512 ZIEX is an improved version of the Falken ZE-502 ZIEX (gotten fair review), so these are my choices.

What do you guys think?

All-Season tires are dog****. They excel at NO seasons. They can be dangerouse in the wet, are worse in the dry than summer tires. they can, and often are, louder due to their harder compounds, and might not even last any longer!

The marketing people and the OE manufacturers have pulled a fast one.

if you like to drive hard and are on a budget look no further than the A520s.

They're no more dangerous in the wet than any other tire.

Of course they're worse in the dry...as you said, they've got harder compounds, which do make them last longer...certainly longer than the A520. They likely also have more channeling for hydroplane resistance, which further degrades dry performance.

If you need to drive in snow, don't want to have separate snow tires, and don't want to change tires every 15-20K, then all-season is what you need.

Not to mention, noise was already cited as a concern, and teh A520 is horribly loud (I had a set, I know).

Why not just run Yokohama A032R or Toyo RA1 tires all the time. Replace them every 8-12000 miles and have great wet and dry grip (so long as you aren't to the wear bars).
