question about fix-it tickets

I got a ticket for having my windows tinted too dark in the front and I took it off...but I still have to go to the station to get it checked. My question is can they give me a ticket for something else while they're checking my car?? Like my exhaust or lights??

Possibly, but here's what I did:

Went to the station and had to park my car like a block away because there was NO parking. Found a cop outside chatting with some lady. Handed him my ticket and he goes, "Where's your car?" - So I pointed to mine and he goes...hmm...ok and signs it. Took all of 10 seconds.

i didnt take my tint off when i got my fix-it ticket. i just got a 100 fine later on. and i still have my tint.

yea I got 2 tickets for tint already and just paid the bail amount but im not rich so I just decided to take it off in case I get another one. My lights are fine...Im just worried the cop might be an ass and give me another ticket while hes at it/

cops completely hate imports...that damn movie f*cked it all up for us....all of my freinds with domestic cars that have tin ted windows never get pulled over ..ever....imports get harrase way too much and the domestic people get away with murder..i hate cops.!!!!!

No they won't because it is usually a desk officer and they don't carry a book of tickets. For tint you can go to any station but for mechanical issues you have to go to the CHP.

Thanks after reading your posts I decided to go without putting everything back to stock and nothin happened. Guess I was just a lil too worried about getting another ticket.
