i'll try to keep the story short with the details...

so i get to school yesterday and i park. i looked in my rearview mirror because i was thinking of reversing back into a different parking area since there was a spot right behind me open. an old model SUV was coming and then took the spot so i decided to stay where i was and start getting my bag together.

i noticed the male driver kept staring in my direction with his windows down and he and the female passenger both had sunglasses on. SHE left the car, but i kept watching him staring. he couldn't see me watching him in my rearview mirror, and i couldn't see his eyes because of the sunglasses, and then he started talking on a cell phone. then after a while the woman came back and sat inside but now they BOTH kept staring in my direction [!!!], and he got off the phone. i thought maybe they're just waiting for someone so maybe they're actually looking in the direction of the building?

i had read about all these cars being stolen at the forums hawaii board but those were mostly hondas and integras. but still, i didn't like the feeling i was getting from them. so i decided to turn on the car, reversed, and started driving...AND THEY STARTED UP THEIR CAR! aahhh! i started getting scared and went through the next parking lane and came around to park in the same lane they're in, but at the bottom end. after a minute, i saw their SUV at the exit of the parking lot and they left.

i don't know...was it a coincidence that they left at the same time? were they leaving because they thought i was, too? were they after my car??!! $hit, the only thing i have is an aftermarket cd player/changer and a muffler. would thieves really go after celicas??

Because your female, I would say better to be safe. What campus is this?
Celica's aren't that high on the theft list because they were never that popular.

yeah...maybe they weren't after the car...could have been after you. it's a good thing that you were keeping an eye out though. did u get the plates? another thing they could have been after would have been stuff in your car like your stereo. girls seem to leave a lot of crap in their car too.

how dare you! pam, help me out with this guy! HAHA  lol, no i have to agree slightly with you about the crap in the car. but MY CAR does not have crap! i actually keep it clean [unlike my room], so the only thing you'll see if you look inside is a kleenex box or a jacket behind the passenger seat. aren't you proud? :king:

i did not get the license plates becuase i thought i was being paranoid. my stereo has the removable face plate, which i always carry with me.

bully-k, this was at UH-west oahu in pearl city... not even at night time, it was in the early afternoon.

i don't see why they'd be after ME. they wouldn't have even known i was a female unless the woman saw me after she got out of their SUV and walked wherever and then went back. now you got me worried about those women who help their husbands kidnap victims for him to rape and think it's ok for him to be doing that. UGH :puke:

My ex lived in some back alley sudivision in town and would take out the trash at night. I told her if something happened it would happen so fast no one would be able to help even if she was able to scream. She made like she was tough (not) and said "so?". I guess I'm the slightly paranoid one but it's better to be safe and err on the side of caution. Anyone who cares about their significant other would do the same.
Carry the Bear-Be-Gone 10% pepper spray like Dog the Bounty Hunter uses. It'll take care of a whole van of evil-doers.

heh... i think its safe to say that your celica is less likely to be stolen... they have little use for it other than remove engine or other parts... hondas are soo easy to steal, its not even funny, specially old models... I seen a Hatchback parked by my work place 3 days ago, we were allbuss and i told all my friends to watch out cuz they have hondas, i did a little demonstration and popped the hood of the car... b16a3 motor... i never had intentions of stealing anything... just the fact that its soo easy its scary... but it gives a little more work than that to actually steal a car... Friends who took auto-tech in Highschool showed me tricks and shyt that i learned... either that or its just a kalihi/filipino thing...

To bad we don't have CCW permits for qualified citizens. One center-mass hit from a .45 and those sick f*ckers won't ever think about stalking again, I don't care how high they are.

I think the sound of the warning shot from a gun that size would be enough. stalker are P*ssies, They can't even build up the courage to talk to a girl.

Becareful over there! There is nothing wrong with being supcious like that. I think I would of been as well if I was in the same position. A lot of people aren't in their right mind these days. Always keep an open eye. ;)

I got sprayed with that stuff

LOL, care to elaborate? Did you try to sexually assault Pam or something? J/k. :hide:
**Please don't get mad at me for making a joke, though. I saw a lot of people were mad at Gary before because he was making jokes to people he didn't really "know." I make these kinds of jokes to my own friends, so I'm not purposely trying to start any bad stuff here--just treating you all like my own friends.**

Thanks Wren and everyone for your concern.

You never know what they said but them being after you could be true. Maybe they thought you had alot of cash on you. But I had similar problems at KCC. this older guy used to just sit and watch cars in the parking lot...he never picked anyone up he'd just sit there for like an hour and then leave.

Who is Mansu? When did this happen and where? I would guess he had an alarm system, but did he actually have one or was it turned on at the time?

That's scary...

Aw, that sucks. I know how that can be. When I went through boot camp for the Navy, we had to sit in a room with tear gas. Not so fun either. :(

ohh. atleast with tear gas it will only last for 5 mins after being exposed. mace has a reflash. shower after. it burns again :faint:
