yeah...lost power around 7:15 and about 2:30 we finally got it back on. so we had lunch cooked from a gas stove. don't know how traffic was because i didn't want to chance going anywhere with no traffic lights and rain. storming...no power...earthquake...it's amazing we didn't have a hurricane to add to it. *knock on wood*

hey josh  only place that got major damage was west hawaii. well not west of the state, but western portion of big island.

sucks i was on day 2 of my 4-day weekend since i finished 10 days straight of work, instead i get to spend a marathon shift day 11 of 12. woo. news is great.

funny thing, as i drove to and from work today/tonight i thought to myself how much safer it was because even if cops werent around to direct traffic, everyone was cool and treated intersections as 4-way stops. i guess everyone just super cautious cuz maniacs are bound to get broadsided by bad drivers.

brah... only in hawaii u'd find that... traffic... there was no traffic whatsoever, considering it was sunday... everyone was really cool, i only heard one accident of some car flippin over... but other than that, everyone was pretty disciplined over traffic...

I heard about this yesterday! Hope everyone is okay over there. I heard just the power outage was the worst of it all.

Power came back on in the valley at 11:30pm... right after my cold shower, LOL!
All in all it was alright. Room temperature coffee and instant ramen is fine compared to the other disasters that have hit the US in past years so I'm not complaining.

Lol... Yeah, they're real useful in power outages. You just need to start it off with a spark, just like we do it in India. :)

does anyone else find it odd that after an underground nuclear test by the north korean's that there is an earthquake on the otherside of the ocean? Both spots are on the "ring of fire" or whatever. I think the siesmic vibrations from the nuclear test disrupted the faults

I think I was the last to get power fully restored at 2:35am. Anyone else later? I live in moiliili. The power actully came back on around 1130 and I could hear everyone in the neighborhood cheering and yelling. some guys even light some fireworks. then about 2 mins later it went out again and the whole neighborhood got quiet.

Not on Kaneohe Bay Drive...there were SO MUCH traffic and people kept speeding by my house! Even in the darkness there was a lot of traffic. I'm surprised there were no accidents near me.

What about the ecu, do you use the stock one or is it going to be stand alone? If this is the Trial stroker kit, how much are they charging for it?
I thought it was meant to run on high-octane fuel only.
