I just installed a Bomz CAI and oiled the filter with the K&N oil 3 days ago.
Now when I open it up WOT, I get a smell.
The only way I can describe it is like this. When I installed a header on one of my old Tacomas, I could smell the oil from my hands, and from the penetrating oil burning off of my header.
This is what I smell now, but I never came anywhere near the exhaust manifold when doing this install.
Could this be a result of the lack of fins for my MAF and it is running rich? ALMOST smells like sulfer, but not as much as if my cat was bad. Would BB mod fix this you think? I don't mind the smell, but i know the smell is coming from a problem.
