hey,

I was reading the japanese board, and a guy had it on a Auto, and apparantly he was puting down over 200hp to the wheels.

he's using Fcon-S for the ECU. so if you really wanted, you could fit it.

That's a possibility. HKS's F-Con S can come either vehicle-specific or universal. As far as a vehicle-specific version, there is none offered for the Celica here in the US. With the universal unit, one must find a qualified shop to wire it in and tune it. Whatever the case, it all depends on how much those auto guys want the s/c.

Any solution will be a VERY expensive one. This will truly separate the auto guys that want to be fast from the ones that just like to "look fast."

Um no. I think its not a very good thing to FI an NA performance orientated engine. yeah it'll give you 250hp but it will kill engine response and from what I read for circuit use its a no no. not only the intercooler and unit adds weight in front that you make understeer even worse.

I'd go for TRD pistons, header, bigger throttle and remapped ECU would give you around 220hp (with exhaust+intake). When someone decides to make cams, flywheel, you'll get to 240 by the end anyways without adding any weight and without killing engine response.

so for straight line racers it cool. for me, no.

I'm mainly drag oriented. I like the corners as well, but the added weight won't bother me at all. WHen I buy some coil overs, just tighten the dampering and go with it.

Are you talking 220 to the wheels? I doubt going n/a on an auto GT-S would even come close to producing those kinds of gains.

can't we all just get along? what if we can do both?
