Ok well me and a friend were wondering whats the difference between a hydraulic clutch and a normal clutch and why do the hydraulic ones burn easier and such?

The only reason I could think of hydraulic clutches burning easier doesn't have to do with the clutch itself but with the fact that in a hydraulic setup you might have malfunctioning of the master/slave cilinder, causing pressure to be left on the system making the clutch to grab a little. Otherwise a misadjusted cable can cause the same effect too.
Both systems have some slack, but I could imagine people riding the pedal all the time will be of more effect in a hydraulic setup than a cable setup.
