So is the Bridgestone RE730 recall BS or not?

I read in one of the threads here that the Bridgestone RE730s were being recalled, and that the source was from Tirerack. I called Tirerack the other day and said that's not the case. I like the 730s, they don't hydroplane uncontrollably like the stock Yokes, but if there's a recall, I'd like to know.

A while back it looked like tire rack was doing some sort of voluntary partial credit because they had a good number of customers complaining about the noise levels on that tire after some wear. Not sure what is currently happening with them
