Ok so I thought I would be add to the ever so popular my girl situation, I was dating this girl last year got burned real bad found out she was cheating on me with my best friend and some other Bull sh!t oh well it's all done now what ever but here is the thing her and I have stayed friends and a while ago she asked me to go to the Renisseance festival because all of her other friends had gone when she was working I was like sure why not well when we were supposed to go she got a new job and needed to work that weekend I was like cool next weekend, then she forgot to request off until this weekend, but guess what I want to go to that thing at andretti and I had told her already I would go before I got knew about the show and I didn't believe she would ever get a weekend off well I talked to her tonight and she was like we're still going to the renisance festival on Saturday right? I was like uh sure, she said and guess what Laura (her bestfriend) will probably come to oh and her parents want to go to, I was like Uhhh... :wtf: then she said and Josh (guy that Laura wants but has a girlfriend) wants to come. I was cool with it when she wanted me to go with her because no one else wanted to go and I didn't mind with Laura going but getting the family going and when ever Laura Josh and Sarah together is like forget me I kinda get back into the shadows since the 3 of them have been friends since they where in high school I have only known sarah for 2 years, She said that we won't hang with Laura's parents and that Laura and Josh will probably pair off and then her and I will pair off but their is just too much assumption in here and I really want to do the whole Andretti thing,

What do y'all think I should do. and Sorry it's so long.

first of all, try to add more periods in your sentences. that shiot was hard to read, man! ;) anyways, it sounds like she's pulling the old "oh, and this person's coming, and this person, and this person, and this person..." stunt. i would probably just tell her i have plans, it certainly doesn't sound like you wanna go, so why go? andretti will be cooler man. but, i suck with chicks as everyone by now knows so don't take my advice too seriously. it's all good in theory though, i promise.

Sorry about the periods. I am real tired and I just don't care about puctuation since I deal with writing techincal e-mail all day. The only thing that makes me want to go is that I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I do kinda want to go just because I have only been once and that was like 8 year ago. The whole this person and this person crap is because her friend Laura doesn't want to miss anything even though she has already gone this year she is now home from college and doesn't want to be left out of anything. Not sure how the others came about.
I really want to hang at andretti but I really don't want her to feel bad.

Just tell her that you will have to reschedule because you can't go.... like ShaffeRSX said... It really sounds like she cares only a little bit for you and just wants you to be "around" when ever she feels like having you around. That will never last.. I think you are better off just going out and having fun with your friends and dating around..

Just to be clear I have absolutly no intent on dating this girl we are completely just friends its one of those things been there done that. She is just a great friend to have around and I hate making my friends feel bad about things, oh well I think I will just tell her that something has come up and since she has her other friends going she should go and have fun with them.

I think you should come hang out with us. We havn't seen you in forever and she had 2 previous weekends to see you and still she didn't get to it. She will have other people to hang out with. Tell her your car club is upset that you havn't hung out and they want you to show up for this special get together or something. If you went to the ren fest you'd most likely be thinking about what you were missing all day and not vice versa. There, that's my 2 cents. See you this weekend right?:cool:

I'll be there and I just got another excuse eveyone know my friend Bryan I think well on monday his Accord died and it is now in the junk yard, I have to drive him around until he gets a new car and well that better be soon he can only go look tomorrow night and saturday morning so that's what I am doing and not to mention the car show is in the afternoon so yes I will be there I haven't hung with yall in so long. Well it's done. I talked to her today finally well I actually talked to her a couple of days ago but I was busy and never got a chance to say anything about this weekend. She called me tonight and I told her that I have to take my friend Bryan to buy a new car tomorrow morning which is the truth, and now I feel really bad, she was looking forward to me going with them and their are only 2 extra people going now a few others decided not to go, but Oh well.

As for my friend getting the new car we were up at Atlanta Toyota on Thursday night and I got to drive an 03 Matrix XR-S which was sweet the gates are wierd but it was easy to get used to and damn hitting lift was fun I "ONLY" did like 10 times, the sales man even let me take it on 85 the Matrix rocks if I was looking for my car now I would probably get that car.
I am hoping to be able to meet up with everyone around 1 or 2 but my friend works at 3 and he wants to look at cars till then hopfully I will be able to drop him back at my house early and meet up with eveyone when you get to andretti.

yea scott, i probably should have done a little more research. i had looked at consumers reports and all those places though and they all gave it near perfect reliability in every category. i think they must not have paid much attention to the car or only judged everything after about a day. however nick was saying that for a while it did seem like they were gonna be pretty good until everyone with the 2000's started putting a good amount of miles on them and everything started going wrong.

I guess that I've just been lucky with mine. 39k and no mechanical problems yet. *knocking on desktop* I don't drive it like a baby either. I've taken it to Atl. Dragway, 130+ mph, mountain run where the rpm's never left under 7k. I just wish I had more money for go fast parts. :)
