first off im not writing to say im so glad to get rid of my car because honestly i love it and there isnt another car out there that i like as much as this one. ive had it for 5 years now and i bought it stock with 20,000 miles on it, owned by a middle aged blonde woman(found her hair all inside) ha ha. I am really going to miss this car but i have to sell it. Only reason im really selling it is because i just bougth a 06 gsxr 1000 and i need a truck to haul my bike around and well since im getting a truck im buying a 2004 dark grey lightning. definately not as much fun as my celica but it will do the job nicely and it is decently quick here is a link to my car on autotrader.

good luck with the sale, but 16K seems a real high...KBB for a used GT-S in EXCELLENT condition is only 9300. but good luck anyways..

its been on autotrader for a month and i started at 17k as asking price...ive had 5 potential buyers but everyones credit didtn hold up at the bank to get such a large loan with no down payments...lol just my luck...honestly i really dont wanna sell it cause i fianlly got everything right on it...most of the buyers were parents looking to buy their kids a graduation present to name one was on celispeed.com ...i dont wanna see someone drive it away but at 15k i think i may be able to let it go

i agree it is a nice, clean looking car. Good luck selling it, but I have to agree with the others $15-16k is pretty steap for a celica with that many miles, garaged or not.

Wow, your celica is nice and everything, but $16k? Geez, I bought my '00 GTS with 28k miles FROM A DEALER for only $13,500 (fully loaded 6 speed).

im hoping to get 15,000 flat for it because im giving all my factory parts and well if you look at it this way i have done everything basically the right way from the paint to suspension and even the slight motor upgrades and it honestly is in awesome shape but oh well im prolly gonna drop the price to 15k flat and leave it liek that maybe someone will buy it for a Xmas present or when it is spring again people will be looking for a newer car to buy....thanx for everyones positive opinion it realy does mean alot

mods done right or not do not increase the value of a car like this, you are better parting it out and selling the mods and selling the car stock for a more reasonable price.

That's the truth. You'll be lucky to find someone that has the same interests in the car as you and is willing to shell out that much money for the car. It does look nice and there is a buyer for everything if you wait around long enough.

If I was in the market, I would consider 13.5 for the car, but 15 is too rich for my blood on your car. I agree with what others have said about the price. HOWEVER, I also know what it is like to sell a car you don't relaly want to sell. I say hold your ground on the price until you decide it HAS TO go. If you sell it at the price you are asking, then that's great. no sense shortchanging yourself if you aren't in a rush to offload it. Besides, I am sure there is someone out there who wouldn't mind paying a premium for your car. Namely a parent who wants an affordable yet unique ride for their kid, or maybe someone who wants a modded ride but wouldn't know where to start it left to thier own devices.

FYI, picked up my 01 GT-S with 60k, some stereo stuff, and an exhaust for 12,2K.

if i were you i would be looking forward to your two new toys more than missing your old one. get yourself a lightning and youll never look back. get yourself a gsxr and youll never want to drive anything else. celica might have more responsive steering but its not going to be as fast or the potential

Don't worry about listing it that high. You put a lot of money into the car and it's hard to justify giving it away. There are a lot of rich kids who will complain until their parents buy them whatever they want. You can take $1500 off the price when they go look at it and they will think they're getting a sweet ass deal.

this is my first bike and ive got about 5,000 miles on it...i ride about everyday, did my first wheelie at 700 miles right after i changed the oil and finished my break in period even though there is another break in period at 1,000 miles but i never let my rpms get over 8k. did my first stand up at 1,500 miles and hit the top speed of 186 at 2,000 miles and started riding wheelies for miles at a time at about 3,500 miles......got my first ticket at 3,000 miles also...stupid stupid stupid i suggest no one buy a bike because it gets you in nothing but trouble but it is so much dam fun...but the day you dont resepct the power is when it kills you.....ever since that ticket i have been very cautious abotu wheelies and speeding because cops are everywhere....by the way 1st gear goes up to 105 mph at 13,500 rpm.....WOW
