:D I'm sure some will not like them and some love them. You'll either approve or not approve of the fact i opted for 16" rims and maybe the colour is a bit controversial but i think they go really well with the colour of the car and they have a jdm/street racer thing about them, which is what the car is used for anyway. They are Ray Engineering forged lightweight rims 8" wide. It took me ages to make my mind up about rims and to be honest i didnt even want to get any just yet because i was saving up for a power fc, but i recently fooked one of my stock ones up and it was dangerous to drive fast with as well as it went flat every 3 hours, so a change was needed. Just a shame now i cant get my pfc for christmas like i promised myself. anyway, enough waffling...

In the new year I WILL be lowering the car with eibach sportlines and im sure it'll will look hugely better by then. Oh and i DO like the thicker tyres because they are more comfortable on the bumpy roads of london and i can burn off the lights a teeny bit quicker and with more grip! :p:

Looks nice, but you put your snow tires on such expensive wheels? :wtf:

It will look much better once the car is lowered. All I see is your 4x4 stance. :D I like the bronze color choice too, goes well with carbon blue. What happened to the Volk stickers?

Yes once it's lowered it will look beautiful. I have Advan RG II's that looks just like that in 16's except my spoked were thinner. That was 6 years ago when I was just modding the car. You're car is coming along way keep it up!

lol, yeah ive got the vertical stripes on the lights. its funny cos i bet most ppl with vertical stripes would want the usa plain and smooth look and vice versa. maybe it's 'cause the other side of the water has something different to the norm. i defo want to get the usa style smooth lights with the black infill bits, can be bought on ebay and loads of u have it anyway.

The wheels are amazing btw. The weight loss and size have made a very notable difference. Not so much at lower revs but exceptional when the real power is coming through, when in lift. u can actually feel the car push u back in 3rd gear (not completely pinned back in your seat like a skyline of course! lol) and the needle pulls to the redline much quicker than before, almost like its running a 15 shot of nitrous. i'll have to make a vid so we can compare it the last one i made.

Is that the stock side-skirt on your car?
Is it just me or does it look.... different compared to the USDM side skirt?
I mean, clearly it is painted, but it seems to have a little bit of a lip on it that isn't there on the USDMs.

cheers for the comments guys.

yeah they are factory sideskirts but as an 'option' i.e. not the horrible ones that are not painted. they're subtle and do the job for now :)

i wouldnt mind trading headlights, lol, but it would be abit hard to do all the way from London ;)

my speedo is showing a slightly slower speed than normal, ie 2nd gear redlines on the lower side of 65, rather than the higher side on my stock 17's.

performance is fantasic! its as good as doing a performance mod for the engine like a de-cat or flywheel change!

Look at the signals on the headlamps. They have vertical stripes like the JDM ones.

Thanks Satoshi! elcelicagts Check out this pic below on a JDM Celica.

But those are for right hand drive cars, you will blind the cars comming from the opposite direction.

Oh and nice rims, although they look like rota's you really need to put the stickers on.

I know, I used to have that problem. I solved this by aiming them lower. I haven't been highbeamed in over a year now. :)

or....

u could just rip out the top cover and internal plastic bit too (if u want to paint it black) and put those on top of ur existing lights....
