i am so sick of those scratches/marks on the plastic on the doors... is there anything to make them less visible?

If you have deep scratches in the plastic panels (from seat belt hitting door too hard) there is nothing you can do. Use Vinylex on the plastic to remove scuff marks and to give it a light shine.
I haven't been able to find that Vinylex stuff so I got Mothers Preserves. My dash is a bit dusty (not really dirty since car is new) so do I have to wipe it clean with a slightly damp cloth (ie. with a little water) before using the Mothers or do i just go ahead and use it?

Good luck finding the Vinylex. I had no luck at all :( . I checked all the auto parts stores and the dealer with no luck. I went with the Meguires and it works pretty well.
