Peeps In Tallahassee?

So far i've seen a red, a black, and silver celica with the action package riding around tallahassee. And there is a regular silver one with a nice ass exhaust. I thought i was the only one with ground effects in this town. Guess not anymore! If you have a bad ass celica in tally respond to this thread. This town is so small that if we got together and hit up some shops we could get some serious discounts. Maybe even a celly club in tally? nah, probably never happen- but we'll see!

Yeah, i'm a junior trying to polish off my business major. It's not a huge import scene. I'm from Ft. Lauderdale and you see bad ass cars all the time, from vipers to supped up imports, beamers, and everything else. Between car shows and moroso it was nice, but up here there's not alot like it. Up here domestic cars are the more popular and there aren't alot of spots people race cause of hills and smaller roads/speed limits. You see alot of older guys with there stock SS's or cobra's or torqued out trucks thinking there bad ass cause they saved enough money off there welfare to get a car that costs more in gas a month than the car payment itself. THere are a few nice integras, eclipses, and now starting to see some cely's. It would be nice to have a car club or atleast some peeps just willing to share tips on installs and get discounts cause there aren't but a couple of import tuners up here, and they aren't cheap. Anyways, you'll like it, we have fun!

to be honest i have no clue and haven't looked into it that much, gainesville is just over two hours from here and a boring drive, i have some friends there but i don't think i'd make the trip just for a track. I liked it better when it was local.

TOYOGTS have to tried to deal with Upgrade performance in Tally? I am from Fort walton Beach butknow them some there. They are very reasonable on price and know a lot about racing and performance.

The racing scene in Tally used to be huge for imports but has slowed a lot lately. They used to meet on tuesday ngihts at Sonic and go from there. I dont think that happens anymore though. The cops were getting bad. they would go to the industral area right the the FSU campus. I went there a few times and they had some fast ass cars there. There should be a lot of fast hondas i know for sure there. Just a little info. I will be back in that area in July. I would like to meet some new import guys when I return.

where is upgrade performance? haven't found them in any phone book and nobody i know has heard about them. Thanks for the input, i'll definately come to them for my next mod if they are descent. I've been dealing with R&R but they are morons, can't keep a scheduled appointment and are way overpriced.

I'm kinda cautious about that place, it's off in the boone docks where a car can easily get stripped. I heard alot of guys complained about that place because they put NOS in for their cars and blew up the engines (that's cause of the way they were running NOS, in my opinion) and then i heard a story about a guy who dropped 4-5 g's there and then parked at Floyds a couple nights later to come out and find his car completely stripped of everything! I think he drove a green prelude. I've never heard so many complaints about one shop even though they look legit and i would love to use them, there is a tinit shop across the way that i got my tint done at and they did a really good job. Ya never know!!!

everyone i know who has used them has been more then happy about them. i am gonna be taking my engine to them to get it ready for turbo. I may put the NOS back on it then also. I am looking to run 15 lbs boost on track days and 9 lbs for daily driving. Others i know have had them do their engines and no problems of blowing yet. that is with turbos ofcourse. and the owner Shawn has a 10 second civic there also.

I knew of a few others from there but they are into hondas as well. I dont know if you are looking for celica owners only or all import guys. Most of the ones i knew there were hardcore into the race scene like i am. I am not into the kits, wheels, lights, and wings. Mine looks stock but lowered. has dark powdercoated wheels on it. but run it into it on the highway and is a whole different story.
