how much does it cost to get the kaminari body kit painted and installed. And which do you prefer: the action package or the kaminari body kit.

Can't wait till I get my 02 6-spd gts for my b-day(12/28:eek: ) I'm gonna race my bros auto gsx once i get good at driving stick. Think i can take him? both our cars are stock.

Between those two, I'd have to go with Kaminari. A GSX will beat you down :)

Paint and install of the kaminari kit should cost ya between $500 to $600 dollars. Just make sure you get it done by a well known body shop. I seen a lot of nice kits with crappy paint that people got deals on. Dont settle for less if you end up geting the Kaminari kit.

u kidding me......the gsx will get a good jump of the line but when the vvtl-i kicks in.....it's MURDA:p ....just last night i raced a manual gsx (i think it's stock) and he got a good 1 car lenght in front of me at the line but when kept on hitting 6k rpm'z 2-3-4 gears....it was no contest......i got about 1 1/2 car lenghts at the end of 4th.....then i stopped cuz i was about 100mph:rolleyes:

Don't get the Kaminari Kit, get the TRD! j/k, I have the full Kaminari Kit, it's sweet :) I got my full kit painted and installed for 700, yeah I got ripped off but oh well :( Some advice on that kit, if you live in an area where there's lots of hills and stuff, don't lower your Celica!

obviously he didnt have a clue what he was doing then.. a properly driven GSX will have about 3-4 cars on your ass off the line, a modded GTS will catch the GSX upwards of 90mph and pass him if he isnt modded but not like u said and pullin hard..
