just want to ask, how do I get the throttle cable to come off the rubber pedal?
do I unbolt the two bolts holding the assembly first then wiggle it out or do I unhook the cable first? is there anything holding it in place besides the hook on the end of the pedal assembly? I can't get it off!!!

You need to remove the throttle cable from the throttle body in the engine bay. Then you remove the two bolts. After that pinch the ends of the rubber stopper from the pedal and thats it.
Putting on the aluminum pedal is also a B***h. But it's the same process only in reverse.

just pull it sideways towards the open notch of the pedal shaft.
