The first was yellow, then they did red, then today I found PURPLE! At Walmart. I would post a pic, but I can't host them anywhere. Just thought I'd let you all know :burnout:

i got the purple too at target last week! i'm missing the red one though. i buy my HW in two's, one to play with when i build a track and the other to collect. to my demise i was only able to locate one purple celi :( still lookin' for the red

Did you chek on Ebay they got em all over the place. Im not sure if they are the ones you are looking for, but they got a bunch. Hope I helped.

That's funny..I got my yellow one at Target in Scottsale, because I couldn't find any in Cali at the time.

I've actually been waiting forever to find the purple one. Someone actually posted about it a month or so ago. Yes, the WR celica was painted. But what you can't see is that there are big wheels in front (Drag slicks), and little wheels in back (runners). Also, there's a roll cage, painted seat and interior and one offed chassis to hold it all together. Those things are so small; they are such a bitch to do.

Looks good Bo;). Is that the Tamiya kit on top? I used to build models all the time:). How about doing a custom one of the Batmobile for me:D.

hehe i got the purple one a while back too.. i have all 3 of the Celica's, and all 3 of the Civic Si's (there is a blue one), and i've also go the Skyline :D

i need to finish building my model Celica.

oh and i have that small blue one pictured above that you guys are talking about.. i got it at the Toyota Dealership along with an MR2 Spyder.. and i have a Supra the same size as both of those.

Stacy I did when I first got it. Just do a search on threads under my sn. I was surprised when i first posted that I didn't get too many responses on it.

I have the yellow one but my gf's nephew chewed on the spoiler! I also have an HPI nitro car that I bought the Celica body for and painted it a blue pearl.

That looks dope! The detail is awesome. I like it a lot.

I am going to do the same thing but switching out for the tinted windows of the red celica. Then I'm going to paint the split spokes silver, and in the middle if the spokes as well. Tehn they will look exactly like my M5s. :)

I have about 8 of each color so far :D (minus the damn purple one) :angry:

Oh, my bad sweetie! I guess I shoulda done a search. I missed your thread. Usually me or Lauren or Chris [2001SilverGTS] would see something like that and call eachother to go to the Toystore right away! hehe.

Bo and scapamouche, those are awesome! My poor Tamiya kit has been sitting in my studio, I have yet to work on it *sigh*
I haven't decided if I should do a mini replica of my car, or do something totally different.

For you southern Cali people they have most of the Hot Wheels you are looking for over at Frank & Son in City of Industry (that's where I got mine) The other place I've seen them is also at Prestige Hobbies in Stanton but they cost double the price there. I finally got my Bit Char-g Celica. Can't wait to put it together and play with it @ work.
