Ok so Im just about done with the NX and GenX-2 install but what I dont understand is that the kits come with an arming switch, a switch which seems to turn on both the bottle heater and purge kit and then the button which actually purges it (so thats 2 toggle switches and a push button)... Where is the actual button for detonation??? and how is it wired? And when the button is wired do I just hit it for a second and it will shoot what is needed or do I hold I down... or what?? And my other question is where do I tap into the fuel line, Is it the metal line with the rubber over it? One last question, The nitrous solenoid has the Outlet on the bottom and the purge solenoid hooked up next to iy, the outlet has a weird fitting that goes onto it, Do I attach a tube to that (which isn't supplied) so I can angle where I want ti to purge? Larry D in another post you showed your set up but for some reason I couldnt see the pictures, they were just red x's. I also havent gotten the chance to get the mallory switch yet but i will sometime down the road. Please help Im almost there??

as much as I hate to say this.. seriously man, take the car somewhere where they know what there doing and let them install it, if you dont know how nitrous works you really shouldnt be installing it yourself.. now that I spoke my mine let me try and answer your questions..

there is a switch for the nitrous on/off
there is a switch for the bottle heater on/off
there is a push button for the purge

nitrous doesnt work in bursts like the movie fnf would make you believe.. if you dont have a WOT switch or window switch as soon as you turn on that nitrous on/off switch to on its going to inject nitrous and fuel into your intake which is a BAD BAD BAD thing becuase you only want it to inject at WOT and between a certain RPM range which is why you need a WOT switch and a window switch.

you tap into the fuel line off the back right hand side of the valve cover, you will see a fuel line.. its hard rubber. you cut this and put a t-block on it and run the fuel line to the nitrous solenoid from that. This has to be very well sealed obviously.

Im not sure about the bottom outlet on the nitrous solenoid as I dont remember off the top of my head what they look like.. my NOS install pics arent online right now hence the reason all you see is red x's

now back to speaking my mind.. I really seriously suggest you take this soemwhere and let them install it. Nitrous isnt something for anyone to install if they arent 100% sure on what there doing, spend the extra $$ now to get it done right becuase there is no 2nd chance to blowing up an engine.

About the purge, I super glued a clear tube and ran it up to my hood, then I went out the plastic near my windhield wiper.

here are pics of my setup there a little different from the instruction. i took the feed line fron the bottle and put the purge there with one of the blue couplers and put the gauge on the other side of the selonoid cause i was having difficult time mounting it in the trunk with both thos blue things with the gauge and shyt.

you tap thge fuel line that goes to the fuel rail. you don't need returnless.

and like larry said you should take it somewhere to install it.

Here's a picture of the Tapped Fuel Line, right behind the valve cover
