High beams won't go on

I was driving today and tried using my high beams but the only thing that happened was my fog lights turned off and the low beams stayed on...or was it my high beams stayed on and lows off...but anyways has this happened to anyone or does anyone know how i can fix it...

the foglights always go off when you turn on the highs. they do that on almost every car if not every car. make sure that you push the headlight switch away from you and not pull it towards you.

No matter what i do the high beams won't come on...the low beams just stay on when i turn on the highs...i checked the bulbs and they're ok...
