two icon tv 7" headrest monitors, BRAND NEW!!

i have two icon mt-743 7" head rest monitors that i was going to install in my girls celica but changed my mind, these tv's are brand new never installed only ever powered up to ensure they work. the suggested retail price on these through icon is $1000 each, they are in excellent condition. i have an icon tv in my truck and one in my girls car and love the quality of them, they are great tv's and if you do a search on icon you will see they are one of the better companies out there.

i would like to get $225 shipped each or $400 for the pair shipped, i also have an icon dvd player that i will include for free if you buy both monitors, it needs the wire harness, that can be bought from icon for $15

i bought these monitors on caraudio.com and they are in fact not brand new!! they are severely damaged and the seller refuses to refund the money or do anything to help in the resolution of the case. I know that i do not have any posts on this forum and that you may not feel it relevant, but i thought that you all should know that this is a scam and these are not brand new monitors

here are the two emails you sent me after you got the items, you said in an email today that i am avoiding you of accusing me of scamming you and lying, i am onot, you seem to be the one with mixed stories, the first email says you arent happy with them due to this and that bieng wrong, which again was not like that when sent to you, the second one is you saying that they dont fit anyway so you will just attempt to re sell them, then you started coming out with claims of false advertising etc after you said that they dont fit, that is why i am questioning your truth in this whole matter

here are the emails:

EMAIL 1 Jan 27th
the screens were delievered today, not really waht i expected. On caraudio.com you said that the back could just be reattached using screws from homedepot, but the screw holes are all filled with glue and there is glue all over the back of the circuit board and the clips at the top of the backing are broken. I don't really know how to attach the back if you've alreday tried tape, i thought i was jsut gonna need some screws, but i guess thats what you get when you buy used electronics. And they definatly arent brand new like your caraudio ad states, these may not have been instaled, but the casing shows severe damage...

EMAIL 2 ( same day )
they actually dont even fit into my headrests. I thought i was gonna be able to squeeze the housing in between the posts of the headrest, but its not gonna happen. I noticed there was another guy that was interested in trading you some amps or subs or something for them, are you itnerested in those? i can ship these back to you for a refund and you can trade with him if your interested in that, or i can sell them myself i guess. lemme know what you wanna do.







it seems you got mad after i said i was not interested in taking them back simply because they dont fit, that seemed to be your first story then when you didnt get your way you started trying to slander me and say i lied to you, it seems a little fishy to me.

again i dont know what else you would like for me to do here, i do not intend to issue a refund after all this " damage " has mysteriously showed up, not knowing if you did the damage trying to install them yourself, trying to fix them, or simply to just try and get me to refund you the money, i am truly sorry that you feel slighted but there is nothing more i can do for you

this guy is a stalker, seriously has some mental issues, changed his story on me several times, now signs up on here just to start trouble, i have sold to several people on here ( which i hope will stick up for me if they read this thread ) and i am not in any way worried about this kid, we talked back and forth many times through email and he knew exactly what he was buying, as i stated i believe he tried to repair them himself and ended up screwing them up and now wants his money back.

hes had the tv's about a week now, theres honestly no telling what he has done to them so he may have any type of pictures he wants to create, and he wonders why i wont take them back? spoiled little daddys boy, he's 18 and telling me his lawyer is going to come after me if i dont refund him ( or shall we say his daddy ) at least some nc members are coming to my defense lol

i am going to assume seller is just going to deny he shipped the monitors this way and that i caused the damages in the week i had them, i sent him these same pictures on the saturday of delivery and i have not touched the monitors since, he knows that this is the condition that he shipped them out in and he will most likely not admit it.

all i'm saying is that you know that those pics are the exact condition that you shipped the monitors out in. I sent you an email regarding the condition of hte monitors right when i recieved them and told you that i was unhappy and you did not then say that i caused the damage to them, you apologised for the fact that i felt ripped off. You know that the pictures i posted are of the condition of the monitors when you shipped them out wheter you are going to admit it or not. Those picutres were added the saturday that i recieved them, i doubt i took them out of the box and started glueing them and breaking the tabs if i was "trying to fix them" as you said.

Buddylee, if you have a problem with someone, you leave it in the feedback forum. You don't follow the member around and crap in their threads. That's why we have a feedback forum. It's not like the seller is ignoring you either, because he's replying to all of your posts. This seller has a good rep here. I've done biz with him personally and he's not the type of guy to sell damaged equip without mentioning it. Regardless, this thread has gotten out of hand. Do not make it a habit, or your visit here will be short.
