View Full Version : In-Dash Motorized Screens

Hey everyone-
I need some suggestions for a good in-dash motorized screen. Any suggestions? I know Alpine and Panasonic make some nice ones but they seem really expensive. Anyone want to sell theirs, or know a good website that I can get it for cheap? I have been looking on e-bay and all I find is Pyle stuff? Is that any good, or just a piece of junk?

Any suggestions would be great. In the future I want to do TV, and maybe DVD. Thanks for the help.

Why dont you just get the whole system from pioneer or panasonic? The pioneer system is like 1400 dollars or so...and it has everything in it. The monitors from alpine are about 1000 to 1400 themselves. You might as well get the whole package at once.

get the panasonic cy-vmd9000u. it plays cd, dvd, and radio.

Go with Alpine man. Remember you get what you pay for. My friend got his Kenwood two after I did and his stop coming out for some reason. And I have only had mine a month.

go w/ the alpine. just like personified said. brand name quality in car audio does make a difference compared to clothes.... etc

how bout the Clarion VRX925VD I think that would be the best choice.

Clarion was pretty good. I had mine and they look so nice.

Get the Pioneer in dash DVD, its great it has a 7" screen unlike most alpines unless you get the really nice one. and its a in dash DVD player and they have a special that comes with the 8000 brain and an added steering wheel remote for under 1600 off ebay I got one had it for about 6 months works perfect, however my freind has another one and it did not work correctly when he got it so he exchanged it for another one.

alpine is ass, except for the new screens they have like the 7" one, but even then they don't come with anything I like the pioneer because its a single din that comes with a DVD player. also the old pioneer style is kind of outdated and ugly.
