buff it out. as long as you didn't really slam into it, it should come off. give it a try :)

Hmm... depends how bad.. if its not too horrible, just use touch up paint... and then buff it and wax it... you'll hardly notice... but if its really big.. i just suggest you get it fixed at a shop... painting the bottom lip shouldn't be THAT outrageous.

Let's clarify this a little bit...

If it's a light scratch and didn't go through the clear coat, you can polish it out. Depending on how deep it is, how much you'll have to polish. Be sure to wax it after you polish it.

If it went through the clear coat/and or the paint, no amount of polishing/waxing is going to get rid of it. Waxing may hide it though so it's not noticable.

Also, sometimes what looks like a scratch isn't. It's actually the paint off of whatever was hit. It will polish right off.

Most of the times I've seen the front lip scratched, it goes all the way through to the plastic, which sucks. Good luck.

most of the time when the front bottoms out its gonna scratch off all the paint. i bottomed out in someones driveway and completely sratched the front end underneath, no wax is gonna take that out.
