View Full Version : Higher Rev Limiter for Auto GTS

Is there anything out yet to get the Rev limit higher for the Auto GTS; or maybe even start the Lift Process quicker at like 5500 rpm.
I hear some stuff about the Weapon R ECU but not many explanations for it though.
What ever happened to El prototypes, did they just quit.
Hey zooq if you see this, I need some advice about the torque converter. I see some posts about it but no one goes in depth though.
Regardless of all the sh$t going around I love my auto GTS specially in houston traffic. So, i have no regrets, just need to pep it up a little.
Im trying to get together a setup for the car so any answer is a good one so I can start racking up on the parts. Either ways you guys know your Sh$t so thats why I ask.

REV Limiter??? I have a 2001 GT-S auto with ECT. I can redline in 1st, and 2nd, havent tried in 3rd yet but I will soon.

Well I can only go to a 7800 RPM so I was talking about going to maybe 8300 or 8500.
I see you have the high stall torque converter, how is that working out. Can you stay will manual cars a lot better now, and how high is your stall.

Is the TC from level 10?or another brand?

the TC is the best mod you can get for an auto gts, i loved mine. but i heard that lots people were having problems with their level ten TCs. i never had any problem with mine. it was working great, i was spraying as soon as go it in and i didn't even break it in. as for the higher rev limiter, i'm not sure, i left the celica world about 6 months ago.
