sun roof rusting

i have a 2000 celica gts with sunroof "that is the electric/automatic sunroof"
the seal is getting bad and its starting the rust out the metal frame thus the seal is bulging out and and roof doesnt close properly some sections of the seal get caught on the ridge of the roof body.

all in all, anyone know any an easy sunroof replacement seal kit or are we talking about dealer fking parts here.

i got the same problem and its ugly as hell but i guess its pretty common for the celica, i'd help but idk what to tell you

can you take some picture of your problem? coz i had problem with my sunroof that it will not close perfectly. i changed the whole railing cost me 135 and verry easy to install...

im having the exact same problem...end up just pushing the areas down that stick up and never open the sunroof lol

it happened to my 00 plexi sunroof. call all the junkyards and hope you get lucky.
