Sorry this is in general chat I just think I would get a broader response posting here. Does anyone know if there is a decently priced double din head unit available that plays mp3s from cd-rs? Kenwood has something which is over a grand. I am not aware of much else which is double din?
Any help would be appreciated.

Why limit yourself to double DIN units?
If it`s for apearance sake, be aware that there are double to single DIN adapters that incorporate a "pocket" below the single DIN opening. They look really nice.
I`m having a one installed Monday.:)

I just want double din, dont really want a pocket or a plastic mounting plate for a single din unit. Kenwood has one which is more than a grand and there is a company www.visteon.com that makes generic looking mp3 players that look like factory radios. I think they are meant to be replacements for GM radios? Anyway I appreciate the input but still really no solutions out there :( kinda sad
