Is it safe to wire the to the sigarette lighter out let ??????

You mean use the cig. lighter FUSE or the cig. lighter outlet? It's safe to use the cig. lighter FUSE for power.

just cut into the wire for its light. use that, then they'll come on when the parking lights come on. i think this is the easiest and best way to wire them. works great on mine.

Just a question, do you recall the color of the wire that you cut in the cigarette lighter? How long did it take you for the install?

doesnt take long...the wire is a GREEN wire

yeah, i donno the color, but you can just follow the 2 to the light and one is + and one is -. but green sounds familiar. i don't remember. this was the fastest way to do it. you can put em in in like 5 minutes, the running the wire and all. its not bad at all. shouldn't take long.

I umm connected the power wire to the cigerette socket's power wire. why is that bad?

it works fine... it's on when the key is in so...?

i don't think its bad...but i did it that way..but i changed it today to the bulb wire...because i only want it on when i turn on my lights

ALLRIGHT, it works the wire was green from the lighter. Looks pretty cool at night, but the longest thing that I had to install was the dimm switch for the cluster.

argh... I had my friend sodder it and i don't have a sodder gun. I'll just leave it as it is... it's not like it's bright enough where I can see it during the day.

its a 15 amp fuse.. more than enough to take care of all that shiz.

Well I wired mine to the Brake light not to be confused with the Stop which is when you hit your brakes. That way when you turn your lights on you turn your indiglos on and they stay off during the day. Much better they'll last longer..

I wired mine to a switch and mounted it to the plastic punchouts to the lower left of the sterring wheel. Did the same with my windshield blazers. Works great for me.
