Does the carcept wing fit inside our factory holes. The guy at carcept said no. Just wann verify that. I heard that TRD-GT makes them also. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

You can either weld the stock holes shut when you have the new ones drilled, or you can plug them. Obviously it would cost more to have them welded than plugged. My Carcept wing is on its way. Does anyone have pics of their car with a carcept wing on it? I would love to see some pics. I'm doing the Kaminari body kit with it. Thanks!

how much are the holes off by and in what direction? Towards the inside or otside of the stock holes. How much for yours TRD-GT?

Hmm I wonder if the holes from my apr gt-1 wing would work with the carcepts wing?

I still dont understand why body kit manufactures wouldnt make wings that fit directly into the stock holes. Seems kinda dumb.

I just got my carcept wing yesterday. I am going to the body shop this morning to find out when he can paint and install it, I will post some pics when it is completed!

TwinCelicaGirl please keep me updated. Maybe someone that has the carcept wing already can measure the distance form the hatch to where the holes are. Thanks.

What do you plug the stock holes with? Is there a certain kind of material you buy, bondo, or what? Please help.

Well, there is a website you can order the plugs from www.mcmaster.com (search for "finishing plugs"). But I am just going to pick some up at Home Depot or something, and have them painted the color of my car. The guy told me it would cost at LEAST $250 to have the holes welded shut, vs. like $3.00 for the plugs. Yeah, I'll take the plugs!
