Please help me!!

Last time I was trying to shift from "6" to "5" (in 105mph) , but, somehow I miss shifted to "R", my lovely engine blown up, the hood came off because the engine poped up and pushed the whole hood out!! I took it to the dealership, and the inspector told me I need 22k to fix the car, I think he is trying cheat my money, dont' you guys think so??

HAHAHA 22k to fix a blown motor and a hood?? LOL no way bud, tell him where he can stick that price quote and go somewhere else.

22k is about what a celica GT-S is worth brand new. thats the entire car.

blown motor and hood and stuff shouldt be more than 6k with labor, and im being generous on teh rebuild cuz it isnt a domestic motor.

What I would do in your situation. Go to www.car-part.com and similar sites and get a wrecked Celica engine and drop it into your car.

guys, this has to be a joke post, think about it, 6th to reverse? u would go down to N, then all the way over, then back up to reverse? no way anyone not drunk out of their gourd would do that.....

yeah thats pretty unbelievable.. i don't see how anyone could manage that. Besides its not even easy to go into reverse.
