I recieved the BL2 3RD BRAKELIGHT OVERLAY KIT and the V5 TAILLIGHT CONVERSION KIT yesturday, installed them today, and i just took pictures after they're done! Bat has the BEST customer service and he understand whatever problems you have with his kits. They come with FULLY explained UNDERSTANDALBE instructions and the pieces are a perfect fit! GO BAT!

Its called pin stripping. Just a rather ugly option from the dealer if you ask me.

well i think it looks gud, from what i heard somewhere all 2001+ models should have them. but maybe that's just a houston thing.

and for all who don't like it....:fawk:

was it hard to install the BL2? did you stand up through your sunroof? lol how did you do it? I'm actually about to order those exact two kits from him... my v9 kit turned out awesome... love it bad!! :thumbup:

ummm..i just reached over....i'm tall enough... (5'10'')
and i squirted a LITTLE bit of water...and followed the directions. I like to add the LITTLE bit of water b/c it makes it easier to fix if i messed it up....oh..and i don't have a sunroof =(

Some people have told me they used a water and soap solution to help with positioning the pieces. I personally have not tried this method, but it seems to work for alot of people...and that's great:).

now i want that kit as well. please dont tempt me anymore.

soap/water works really well. i just mixed joy and water into a squirt bottle, then i squirt it on the cleaned surface. too bad i didnt know about this method when i installed your H1 kit. it would have saved me a lot of time.
