Just drove my car back from the bodyshop a couple hours ago.. when I got home I noticed that my exhaust is rubbing the rear bumper :( I have the Kaminari rear.. and the Tanabe RM exhaust.. anyone have any suggestions? I can only imagine over time what it will look like :( And if the rubbing doesn't do enough damage.. the heat will.

I tried bending the exhaust down a little.. and it seems to work when its sitting there, but of course when I get back in the car and drive somewhere.. it goes back to where it was. Maybe there is some kind of heat resistant padding I can put on the bumper where the exhaust outlet is to prevent further damage? Anyone know what I could use?

Please help!

I saw your car being finished yesterday chris. Charlie had a problem with my TRM fitting too. He heated the hangers and bent them a little so the exhaust can doesn't rub. See if you can call him and get him to do the same for you. BTW nice rims. The car looks nice too.

Yeah I had that same problem when I installed my kit... The rubbing thing got me so pissed... It just keeps on vibrating the sh!t out of everything... Anyway this is what I did ("I take no responsibility for any liability to whatever happens if you do decide to do this")... I jammed something (hammer which fit perfectly) into my exhaust and bent/pused it down a little bit... When I was done there was about an inch gap between the rear and the exhaust after a week there is now about a quarter on an inch gap... Well good luck to you...

People used exhaust hangers to hold the exhaust, I baught one but I have no clue where to install it... Also you can always go to an exhaust place and have them center the exhaust tip for you...
