I paid $24k out the door. Total it came to about $20k for a fully loaded GT-s with 33 miles on the clock (all of which I put on on my test drive). When it was totaled, they gave me $25k back :D, so I know they dont lose value that much

Cool... Low miles... How much of that did you put on for your test drive?

hmmm 19800 is kinda expensive isn't it, MSRP for the GT 5spd is 17,570. If you want auto tranny its $724, power tilt and slide moonroof is $720, rear spoiler is $436, etc...but without those option then its 17,570. Invoice for the car is 16,256. What I suggest you do is print out the invoice of the car including option and what not and go to the dealership with it. Also bring a calculator and start calculating. Thats what I did when I got my celica. They wanted 23500 for my GTS but I told them that the invoice of the car was around 22000. After I threaten to leave, they agree to give me the car for 200 above invoice. I payed 23k and some change out the door. It had 6 miles on the car, :) I got really lucky cause it just got off the truck the night before and it still had the plastic all around it. Well good luck with it. Lates

Not to be picking nits but with sales tax alone you would have to be a lot closer to 24K out the door than 23K if you payed 22,200. :)

My price was $17,900 for a used GT-S '01 with 15k miles. $19,800 is rape for a GT IMO

I paid a total of 10 grand for my GT. My uncle owns a body shop and got it at an auction for around 6300. The rear driver side was wrecked but the engine bay was still in tact. He spent another 3700 for parts and paint and charged me nothing for labor. The car had 13000 miles on it when i picked it up.
