i am wondering ...can u guys survive in the winter with ur CAI??
coz i thinking to switch my short ram to CAI too...but sure..after winter

This will be my first winter with my CAI. I live in the desert, so it rarely rains or snows *knocks on wood*:)
Anyway, I'll be leaving mine on.

Shouldn't be a problem. Could be interesting if snow and ice gets clogged around your air filter though. I would suggest you check it from time to time and be sure snow doesn't have any easy ways to get to your air filter.

To directly answer your question, yes I will be fine all winter long. And so will you. :rolleyes:

It might be helpful to cover the tirewell vent holes so that the front tire does not kick snow etc. into the filter. i used duct tape to cover the holes and it keeps my filter much cleaner.

Yes, I would cover the holes in the fenderwell, but other than that, your CAI should be fine thoughout the winter. It will give you a lot better performance on those cold days too. The ones where there isn't ice and snow yet. Have fun freezing up there.
