Lowering springs

Hey guys I am getting pretty frustrated with the right lowering springs to get. Ive been looking around and i don't know which ones to get. I need springs that will eliminate the wheel gap, i have 225/45/17 wheels; also i have KYB AGX shocks if that helps. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance for all your help. BTW pics would really help too. :)

hotchkis springs are great. i heard the tein s-techs go good with the KYB AGX shocks as well.

Will any of those get rid of the wheel gap??? that is my biggest concern

Well don't buy something in rush, lol. Make sure you got the right one. Go to the gallery section and type in S-Tech's or Hotchkins, etc. and check out the pics that pop up. Or you can run a search in the readers rides and see who has what and what it looks like. S-Tech's drop you about 1.4 front and rear, leaves about a 2-2.5 finger gap if I remember right. Hotchkins for example, drop you a bit more. I've heard Lightningrod say that it levels out the car perfectly and from his pics, I see zero wheel gap.

i'd say go with eibach sportlines. I'm currently sitting on koni yellow adjustable shocks with eibach sportline lowering springs. here's a crappy pic of what it looks like (don't mind the colourS of my car)

Sportlines have one of the most agressive drops.

I say H&R coz thats what it got? hehehehe same tire sieze but R18 with 1.5 drop.

I have a coilover setup with KYB struts and Dropzone springs. I'm not satisfied with the drop, and am thinking of going with S-Techs or Sportlines. If I just buy the springs to replace, how much of a headache am I looking at with replacing everything?

thanks a lot guys for your replies. I am thinking of getting the sportlines because im lookin for an agressive drop, but im just worried that i might regret it bc i have speed bumps in my neighborhood and im planning on getting the kam kit and ive seen peoples rides here and it is very low. But i guess i have to pay the price for a really good look.

Since im leaning a lot towards the sportlines, does anyone know of a good place i can get them price wise?? Ive looked around b4 and they go around the 200+ mark. Has anyone seen them lower somewhere else??

neither hotckiss or eibach get rid of the wheel gap, unless ur tallking about the hotchkiss racing springs, the best ones i know of to get rid of the wheel gap are tanabe df210s i have em my personal favorites, and skunk2 springs.

wow...if that celica is yours in your sig then your car is sick dunked, but your springs are 2.2F 2.4 rear right?? I could be wrong but yea i think that is too low for me. I think the Eibach sportlines will get rid of the tire gap for me since i have more rubber.

no thats not my car in the sig. just sumthin to shoot 4. but if u do a search theres a couple of other threads on here w/ the tanabe df210s ,nicest drop in my opinion. the car above is the trial celica w/ 19s on it and trials ridicously expensive coilover setup. THe good thing about the tanabes is that the springs arent as stiff as the skunks so the shocks will last longer. ille see if can finds some and post them.

Thanks for the post ghost, but i think that drop will kill me if i get those along with the kam kit. i have speed bumps in my neighborhood that are the size of mountains. And my driveway is a b**** too. I think the sportlines will be my choice, ill check up on the tanabe springs though, thanks again
