Merry christmas everyone. today my girlfriend got me a TRD ball shift knob for christmas....along with other various parts for my celica. but just a few minutes ago i went out and unscrewed the stock shift knob and then screwed on the TRD ball, it was no problem. but now that since the TRD knob is not as long as the stock knob there is now a gap between the TRD knob and the chrome top of the shift boot. there is about 1.5 inches of the bare metal shifter rod showing now. is there a way i can make the boot stay up or is there somthing else i should do?...i'm sure that some of you have this shift knob, so what did you do?
