My cel needs a few minor repiars. any suggestions?

I bought the car off ebay,

00 GTS 6 speed with 103k miles

I'm pretty happy with the experience, there are a few minor things that werent mentioned but all in all i'm glad I got it.

The antenna is missing.

The Gas door is half broken and doesn't sit right.

As you can see in this pic the lower bracket is rusted through

Last is purely cosmetic there are scuffs on the moonroof.

Any suggestions on where to go for these parts?

Is it possible to just replace the bracket of the gas cover?

you are in luck, you can just drill out the rivots and replace the door with the TRD gas door. much better looking. as with the antenna, get the honda S2000. perfect fit and look.

where would i find the trd gas door? its see through?

It looks like the antena may actually be broken off inside the mass, atleast from memory my mast wen a lot deeper than that... if its not though just get an s2k antena, definately the best 12$ you can spend..

and the 'scratches' are normal on the plastic moonroof on the older celicas, mine's doing the same but its not so noticeable.

It looks like the screw that held the antenna to the base is broken. If so, you'll have to drill it and use a screw extractor (you can pick these up at a hardware store if you don't already have one). That's a real pain :(

You can replace just the bracket on the gas door if you can find one from a junked Celica. Otherwise, you could try the stealership :shrugs:

The sunroofs on the 00-02's are crap. They peel easily, and there's not much that can be done about it. I've been searching for a pristine one off a wrecked Celica for some time. Other option is to just buy a brand new one from Toyota, but they're a bit pricey.

Look around the Classified forum for what you need. I've seen some s2000 antennas for sale. There are also some Toyota Sports Lid and gas cap cover for sale.

I have managed to find the parts I need in the FS forum. Got an antenna, but I still need to get the old one out, have a line on a gas door, and a moonroof.
