i just order my work 17x8 today so and i will buy some nitto neogen for those rims... i was going to order 205/40/17 so you guys think is that fine??? i dont know nothing about tires???? so please help me put with this... because i will order the rubbers tomorrow... thanks alot guys...

its just pretty much the size u want the tire to be u can get 205 215 235 which ever one works for u i suggest either 215 or 235

the shop told me 205 or 225 but i am really confused... ı dont want to get 235 eıther... ı dont know if it make the car slow down or not??? you dıdnt say 225 ı dıdnt understand why???

i would just go with 225 or 235 its a good size for 17x8 because u dont want the lip of the rim sticking out more than the tire is because then u gonna mess up the lip

thanks for advice but 45 is too high profile because i used to use 35 low profile so ı wont go more than 40...

I have Work CR wheels with 235x40x17.. trust me.. it's alright... If I was to get it again I would have gone with 240x40x17 or 240x45x17.

:werd: And even then you would want a 245/40 at most. I honestly would go with a 235/40/17 its alittle higher than stock 24.4 vs 24.0 so it will fill the fenders and ride alittle better than a 235/35/17. I wouldn't go under a 235 on a 8" width rim if for no more than aesthetics, I hate super stretched looking tires. They look like you couldn't afford the proper sized tire so you had to buy the next size down.

i'll be getting 225/40-17 on my 17x8 inch wheels in the future. haven't decided which tires to go with, though.

thanx guys for advice i apperciated one and another... i purchased the nitto NT555 225/40/17 so i hope it will be a great stuff... at least when i open this thread i was going to buy 205/40/17 after that i changed my mind little bit so thanx all of you...
