since my cars been in the shop and i am beaterless.
well, last night we were on our way home from work and we got a flat. no problem. i get out the spare and the jack and jack the car up. then i ask the girl thats taking me home where the tire iron is. she has no idea. so we are sitting on the upper deck of the leroy selmon expressway with the car on the jack waiting.
we called AAA and they said it would be an hour and a half before they got a free towtruck. so we wait. one person asked if we needed a phone. and one drunk guy stopped and let us use his tire iron. so we get three of the lugs off but the last wheel stud is stripped on the inside.
so we are chillin on the top of the crosstown and low and behold we see the towtruck down below us driving in circles. finally we get his attention. the sucky part is that the upperdeck is ONE WAY at night and the other way in the morning. so the tow truck has to drive all the way to channelside to get on to the upperdeck.
so the truck gets there and to my amusement they didnt send a flatbed. the right rear tire is the one that blew. so this guy wouldnt tow us. so we have to wait another 45 minutes for the flatbed.
finally at 0245 we get home. i got off work at 2300. what a way to spend a friday night. :monkey:
i did keep a sense of humor:
