My car was overheating real bad do to a bad radiator so i changed it and it took out the thermostat and i keep hearing that thats bad is it true?

Yep the engine won't get to proper operating temp's

Thats something you do to a crusty old V8 with tweaked timing cuz its wore the fvck out.

Depending on climate, the GT-S will eventually get to normal operating temperature even without a thermostat, but even then it will take a long time to do so, which is bad cuz it causes more wear on the internals than you would normally have if it reaches operating temp as supposed. Taking the thermostat out will just treat the symptoms, it isn't curing the problem.

ok so in other words i should put it back i mean i found out the problem it was the radiator busted and it was leaking thru there so its better to put it back then huh
