Hi all,
I found some 17" rims I want to by on TIRERACK.COM but the "recommended tire size" is 205/45-17. The rims are 17x8", shouldn't they take a WIDER tire such as a 215/45-17 or 225? How does that work, IE can I put a 215 or 225 on there and it won't cause any issues? Or do I HAVE to put the 205's on there? I don't know crap about rims and tires and don't pretend to as you can plainly see lol! Any brutally honest advice is welcome!
P.S - 2000 GTS in RED w/ Racing Strips, should I go with GUNMETAL rims or do you think chrome would look better?
THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
