I had recently bought these gauges and i was wondering when installing them (btw i already read the install), how long did it take to put back the needles correctly? Is it risky to do the install by myself? Did anyone have problems with their gauge faces after installing them? How lond does it take to finish the whole process?

Why are you even messing with needles when installin your guages.. it is an overlay, it will slip right over your stock guage..

yeah don't take off the needles. you can kinda slip it under the ends of the needles and squeeze it on w/o taking off the needles. getting the needles back on right can be a bitch.

okay... I have a question too. I recently bought the indiglo gauges and I'm wondering where I should connect the the inverter to.
note: this is the first time that I've ever taken my car apart. please take this into consideration. in other words, I'm a n00b :)
[edit] yes, I did read the guide. I just don't want to connect it to the parking lights because I'm sure that I'll probably end up with a dead car when it rains.

wait...so if i dont' remove the needles, i won't have to recalibrate or worry about them being inaccurate when i plug it back in right?

i tapped into the power wire going to the LIGHT on the cig. lighter. you can just scrape some insulation off the wire and solder it on there or wrap it on. then ground to the car behind the gauges.

well i'm not sure what you mean by gauges were removed. you can remove the gauges, and they'll be fine when you plug em back in, but if you remove the needles, well i donno man, good luck.

put your keys onto ACC section and leave it there for a good minute. That should recalibrate your needles.

For wiring,
I tapped into the parking light power source. I thought this was the safest way to go. You just have to splice into two wires and run that thru the firewall.
For your inverter, I placed mine right under the steering wheel column... and my switch is mounted on the dash...

Simple, if you ask me.
Go find you a metal hanger that you can undo. Tie one side of the wire to the hanger, well now a metal stick. Secure the wire that it is pretty tight on the stick. You will cut a little gap on the firewall rubber with a knife, then you stick your wired stick through that until the stick completely goes through. You go underneath your driverside by the pedals and you pull the stick. Untie the wire and pull out the stick. You are done.

... I think that I'll just ask around for how to wire it to the cigerette lighter socket. cutting into there frightens me
