Yes. They only have 20 more HP to move 800 extra pounds. They do have a load more torque, but that really doesn't have much of an effect after launch.

I know we kept up with a Mustang GT in our Celica GT-S with i/e through town. Also, it depends on if you are good at driving your car....

I've killed 6cyl camero's and mustangs in my GT but it really depends on the drivier I think

stock v6 camaro vs stock gt-s 6speed. im sure the gt-s will get it in the 1/4, and on the highway, after 120 the gt-s will walk away with ease... seeing as the v6 models wont pass 120...

gt-s auto... it would be close i think, but again after 120, bye bye camaro...

gt 5speed, i still think the gt will win, and also on the top end.

gt auto... i may put my money on the camaro for the 1/4... but top end... bye bye v6...:gap:

I've walked all over Camero RS and regular V6 mustangs in my GT... and I only had an Intake.... Challenge him and show him watsup with our Rice Rockets...:chuckles:

i had a v6 convertible mustang with big ugly ground effects and a 3 level spoiler try to race me on the freeway once, after i kicked his ass for the 3rd time he just kept going with his tail between his legs hehe.
