I have always liked the civic SI for some reason even though its a civic...but anyway i was wonderign does anyone know what this car redlines at..i'm pretty sure its like between 7,800-8000...im not sure..also my main question is that even though these cars have VTEC ..does that mean that they have lift like the gt-s and rsx-s etc. or does this just mean that they have vvt-i just like the gt celica....also if they do have lift does anyone know where it kicks in....and also i read soemwhere that all ex hx and SI civics from like the year 94 and up all have VTEC..and they didnt seem to have lift..i'm just wondering if they had lift in those older model civics also...

this is a newbie question but i just for some reason confused myself with the VTEC thing....somebody let me know about the civic...

vtec is similar to vvtl-i in how it works, yet the feeling of the 2 are quite different......search, there's been so so many threads about this already.

VTEC isn't as noticable at the switchover like VVTL-i, but it's there

that depends on which car you are in. The Teg Type Rs kick is pretty strong. but overall yes Honda has tried to reduce the kick. Sean
