Definetly a Newbie with Lots of Questions for all you Celica Experts out there

Hey whassup peeps! i just got a brand spankin new 4-speed auto w/ sportshift gts with trd body kit. Now i gotta alotta questions cuz i want to soup my car up. Cuz no one around here wants to help me out.

1) what is the best intake for the celica gts?
2) what is the best exhaust for the celica gts?
3) i wanna put 17s or 18s on it. i wanna drop it.
Do I buy lowering springs or suspension from hotchis<-Spelled
wrong i bet? If so whats the best springs or suspension to get?
4) i wanna put a turbo or supercharge in it..is there a turbo kit or supercharge for a 4 speed
sportshift gts out there in the market?
5) i wanna put white neon lights under my car. where do i buy them? Do i buy one or two kits. How big are the lights suppose to be?
6) what is the best headers to get for the celica? if any?

Please someone help me out. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

1. Injen CAI - most high RPM power

2. Depends on your tastes - different exhausts make very little difference in power, but a major change in sould. Search the Performance Mods forum for answers

3. You can get springs, but don't expect your shocks to last very long (not made to handle the extra stress of being compressed all the time). Your best bet is a spring/shock combo or coilovers. Right now, Hotchkis has the most suspension parts out for our car, and combined they are very impressive.

4. Nothing mass produced out yet. Blitz has an SC in Japan, but it's for manuals only. You can probably go to a good shop that knows about turbos and get a custom job done.

5. Not a clue. Check out the Appearance Mods section.

6. Nothing out yet, but TRD may be coming out with headers soon (nothing is ever definite with TRD).

5)Its just one kit. It comes with 4pc (2side, 1front, 1back). Sides should be around 48", and the front/back should be 36". I think the msrp is well over $150. you can buy some on ebay. some start at around $85 and they never go over 100. But Street Glo is more expensive, they start around 140, but i hear that they are the best. I dont know about the color tho. I've never seen a white one. I think the whole reason why its called a neon under body kit, is because its neon. If it was white it wouldnt really be neon, would it. i dont know, good luck finding one. ill let you kno if i see one.

Exhaust depends. I got the Veilside Ti cuz its lite, but I would recomend the TRD or TRM

Rims... Show 18" go 17"

COILOVERS!!!

Turbo kits, none yet, but WCToyota kit will be coming out soon.

Headers... dont need them if you're getting a turbo.

Neons... please dont!

yeah thanks alot for the replys. Yeah, i woulda gotta six speed but my parents dont want to deal with stick. Its kinda our family car anywayz. But until i get my own car...i'll make do with what i got. I just ordered Injen CAI and Altezzas. I cant wait till they come! Where do you get the Honda s2000 attenna?

1. Injen RD CAI, order one from this site go to store forum
2. I suggest Blitz Nur Spec. Sounds nice and gain is noticable.
3. You got money then get Tein or Hotchkis. Springs, if you prefer low drop, get Tanabe Precedeo super down or Progress. If you want decent drop than get TRD or Eibach pro kit. For rims, that is a preference matter. For shows=18" For go=17" You want light rims=Volks/SSR/Racing Hart
4. Go to Forced Induction forum and browse the site for this. There are too many threads that are about this issue.
5. No neons. IMO neons are juss too ricey.
6. No headers yet for GT-S. Hot shot only makes GT headers.

I don't think there is a safe TC kit out right now... www.wctoyotasports.com is developing turbo for GT as of now...
