My brother recently rear-ended someone, and he claims the cold weather is to blame. Long story short he says that the cold weather caused him to have brake slip, and that the fluid was too cold, and thats way he rear-ended someone. It was in a parking lot at a stop sign, so it's not like he was racing or anything. So maybe 20mph tops.
Is there any truth to this. I don't buy it for a second, I live in Florida for god-sakes! The temperature at the time was between 67-70 degrees F. I don't know anything about brake fluid, but this sounds ridiculous to me. Can anyone help clarify if there is any truth to this story?
For my own personal amusement I will post post-damage photo.
