I need to finish installing my oil pressure guage (electric). I got the greddy universal adapter, my question is.....
Do I still need to remote mount the sender off the block. Or is it ok to mounth the sending unit right on the greddy adapter?
my mechanic wants to put in right on the block, Im not too sure though.
I know about the brass adapters breaking, but will my sending unit break off the greddy adapter?
Thanks, dank

wasnt the whole reason of buying the adapter to mount the sender? you leave the stock oil sensor in its oem location and you mount your sender on the adapter... no brass fitting needed.

the only catch is that you may have to thread tap, depending on what size thread your sender is.

I just wasnt sure ifI needed to run like braided lines from the adapter to the sender in a remote loaction.
Thanks for clearin it up.

i have had both the brass fitting off the stock sender spot and the adapter fitting. my brass fitting cracked and broke off in the block.

the adapter has worked like a charm.
