Man, I'm gonna hate myself on this one. Well, not really...more like embarassed. But I just got off the phone with my parents and they wanted me to quite possibly sell the GT-S before the end of this year (instead of next year). This is due to the events of last year (laid-off, accident, and some other financial problems). Also, I plan on returning to school full-time to finish up my bachelor's. I decided to use funds I had saved for the Laser on the Azenis, but now I have to steer them towards funding my education. Not to mention, I got denied financial aid today which was unexpected. :(
So I plan on autocrossing my GT-S on the stock yoks as much as I wanted to use the Azenis for possibly better grip and improved gearing due to their smaller overall diameter. Thus, I have them for sale. Here is the breakdown on how much I paid for them:
$280 - Falken Azenis 205/50/15, 4 tires altogether, brand new
$50 - 15x6.5" steel wheels, 5x100, +39mm offset, 4 wheels
$50 - mounting and balance
-------
$380 total
Asking Price: $330 (firm, no parting, prefer local pickup from downtown San Jose, California)
These are brand new and never been mounted on the car itself. Due to the smaller overall diameter of the wheel/tire combination, you'll get better acceleration. I really, really wanted to give these a try on May 26th, but now have to sell them due to my above and sudden financial circumstance. So I'll be taking a small loss on these. I normally don't post any long reasons for selling stuff nor post the personal happenings of my life as I do not seek sympathy or unnecessary attention to myself. But in this case I'm hoping the potential buyer will understand my situation.
So if you are interested or may have friends that may be interested, please e-mail me at dragonknight@animedx.com or call me at 408-420-7223 on my cell. As I said before, this was unexpected and would appreciate any help on this sale. Thank you very much for your time.
