lookin for a mica blue 2000-2001 gts

right now im currently driving a 2001 gt mica blue auto...but im looking for a 2001 gts mica blue 6 speed..or a 2000..if anyone knows anyone that is selling one please let me know asap..im planning to get it in october unless i find a good deal right now...i almost got jacked at a toyota dealership in sanjose...they wanted me to pay 21,000 for a 2000 black gts..with 45,000 mileage...well if anyone has info on some better deals please let me know thanks..Lori

check tracy toyota.. it's a drive, you gotta argue the price down, tell them you're gonna walk, and they should be able to get you something :)

Word of advice, dealerships will always try to jack you. They are *not* your friend. Best to go with a private seller. Even then, you will want to have the car checked out at a trusted mechanic and make sure the seller has all documentation of the car. Here are a few places to get you started:

I have a 2001 Mica Blue 6 speed with the original shiftgate. I have 32,000 miles on it. I don't know how much my car is worth. But then again, planning on selling it is out of the question as of right now. I love this car.

I bought mine new, and I was looking for that color when I was shopping for one. I just went to one dealer and voila, there it is, in 6 speed too. Had to get it on that day.

yah my boyfreind has one ...damn damn damn..i want one to..but with the lsd and all i cant drive it..its to stiff..it discourages me when i do drive it..cause i stalled 5 times lol...but yeah im still lookin for one..if i can....if not...ill just do a tranny swap =/

EB...i decided to back out on the flywheel install when put my lsd and act clutch in. i figured my car isnt really making enough HP and most likely by the time i get internal mods for the engine ill have to put another clutch in..so ill just wait till that time. BTW who told you gene gave it to me?? lol

i got my 00 gts 6 speed for 22k.. usual options and then some.. blah blah blah.. so dont let them try and sell u aused one for 20-21k..

I'm guessing it's cause the GST and GSX were hella expensive in 98-99. Cause they were the last of the high-horsepower turbocharged I4 (until its return in the WRX), a lot of dealers were selling them for as much as $27,000. Especially the GSX. Those sales made the their resale value inflated as a result. I'll be lucky if I can get $15,000 for my GT-S. :(

theres a 98 gsx that i was interested in getting.. 5 speed of course.. 50k miles.. goin for 10k.. its salvage title though.. i would get that.. but i found something else that is more of a priority.. muwahhaa..

Naw, don't get the 2g's. Especially if u mod them. Engine will crankwalk if u make too much power. It'd be better to get a 1g and mod the engine & tranny with GVR and EVO parts. ;)

If I were to get a Celica again (and I will cause I have too much love for the car cause I've already owned two), then it'd either be a GT4 (if I lose the Laser somehow) or a MKII Celica-Supra (RWD baby!!!). If its the MKII, you know there's no choice but to drop this fugker in...yah, 7MGTE conversion mofo (http://www.celicasupra.com/7mgte/)!!! Can u say 400HP to the rear wheels?! Bwahahaha!!!! :fawk:
